Risk, examined with care.
Auric Den works alongside Malaysian organisations to understand their risk landscape — steadily, without alarm, and with considered attention to what actually matters.
Our Engagements
Three ways we work together
Each engagement is designed around a particular kind of need. We do not offer packages — only considered work, sized to what the situation calls for.
Engagement 01 / Risk Assessment
Risk Landscape Review
A careful examination of the risk picture facing your organisation today, undertaken through conversation rather than checklist. We speak with leaders across functions, review recent incidents and near-misses, and study the operating context at a measured pace.
The outcome is a written review that sets out the risk landscape as we came to understand it, along with observations on where attention may benefit from reallocation.
- Interviews across functions, conducted with discretion
- Review of recent incidents and documented near-misses
- Written review delivered in plain, considered language
- Suited to medium-sized firms in regulated sectors

| Assessment engagement | 3 – 4 weeks | MYR 3,860 |
Engagement 02 / Framework Development
Risk Framework Advisory
Tailored support for organisations building or revising their internal risk framework — register structure, assessment approach, escalation patterns, and reporting rhythms. We work alongside your risk or compliance team, offering considered drafts and facilitating the working sessions necessary to adapt them to your context.
Deliverables include a set of framework documents, a narrative companion, and a facilitated rollout conversation with leadership.
- Risk register structure and assessment methodology
- Escalation and reporting pattern design
- Framework documents with narrative companion
- Facilitated leadership rollout conversation

| Advisory engagement | 5 – 7 weeks | MYR 3,140 |
Engagement 03 / Reflection & Learning
Incident Reflection Session
A confidential engagement for leaders wishing to reflect carefully on a recent incident — operational, reputational, or governance-related — and draw measured lessons from it. Before the session we read the relevant reports and documentation.
The session itself, lasting three hours, is held in a considered space and focuses on what happened, what was learnt, and what may be worth carrying forward. A short written note follows, phrased with care for the individuals involved.
- Pre-session review of incident documentation
- Three-hour facilitated session with leadership
- Confidential written note on lessons observed
- Phrased carefully for those involved

| Single-session engagement | One day + prep | MYR 940 |

Common Questions
Questions we are often asked
How does an engagement typically begin?
It usually starts with a short conversation — by telephone or in person — where we listen to what is on your mind. There is no standard intake form. We prefer to understand the situation in your own words before proposing anything.
Do you work with organisations outside Kuala Lumpur?
Yes. While our office is in Kuala Lumpur, we work with organisations across Malaysia. Travel for on-site sessions can be arranged depending on the nature of the engagement. Some aspects of our work — preparatory reading, written deliverables — proceed by correspondence regardless of location.
What sectors do you tend to work with?
We have most often worked alongside organisations in financial services, professional services, and regulated industries — sectors where operational and governance considerations require steady rather than reactive attention. That said, we are open to enquiries from organisations outside these areas where the nature of the work is a good fit.
How is confidentiality handled?
Discretion is central to how we work. We do not share details of engagements with other clients, and our written deliverables are prepared with an awareness that they may be sensitive. A formal confidentiality arrangement can be signed at the outset if your organisation requires it.
What are the fees, and how is payment structured?
Our engagement fees are set out clearly: MYR 3,860 for the Risk Landscape Review, MYR 3,140 for the Risk Framework Advisory, and MYR 940 for an Incident Reflection Session. Payment is typically structured in two parts — at engagement commencement and on delivery of the final written note or documents.
Can we engage Auric Den for ongoing support after an initial engagement?
Some organisations prefer to return periodically — for an annual landscape review, or a session when a significant incident has occurred. We are happy to discuss what continued engagement might look like. We do not offer retainers by default, but we can speak about what periodic advisory attention might suit your situation.
